The Vinegar Bar is Open!

Over the years, I’ve been sharing with market visitors how I like to use my specialty infused vinegars and the number one way I like to enjoy my wellness tonics is as a Vinegar Spritzer. I add a spoonful or two to a glass of bubbly water and enjoy the taste along with the array of health benefits. I’ve actually come to form a healthy addiction to these Spritzers.

I’ve tried all my flavors from New Moon Fire Cider, which was surprisingly delightful and a total shift from the many salads it has topped, to the Lavender Lemonade which admittedly has become my favorite (shhh, don’t tell the other flavors). Each flavor presents a nuance of live culture and specialty seasonal produce with a completely different drinking experience. Some are fruity, some are earthy, some are herbaceous and others lend a bright zing to your glass.

I had such a great time making Spritzers and Coolers at the grand opening of my Vinegar Bar at my market booth last weekend, that I must set it up again this Saturday at The Amp Market in St. Augustine. The response from all of those that gave a drink a try was overwhelmingly positive and it was so fun for me to get to see everyone enjoying the creations I work so hard to fashion. As a Chef, one of my most meaningful moments is when I see the look of delight on someone’s face when they experience something I have concocted.

This Saturday the bar opens at 8:30am and custom made Vinegar Spritzers and Vinegar Coolers in 11 flavors are on the menu. Everyday is a great day to have mocktail wellness tonic!
